Erica L. Daniels is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisor endorsement (LPCC-S) who provides counseling and education to individuals and groups of all ages, with a focus on children and adolescents. Erica has worked on issues such as anger, aggression, anxiety, child abuse, depression, domestic violence, human trafficking, low self-esteem, communication skills, social skills, and post-traumatic stress. While Erica sees children and adults for a variety of reasons, she specializes in providing services to children & adolescents who have experienced traumatic events.
Erica began providing counseling services in 2006 during her practicum and internship. She received her master of science degree in community counseling from Wright State University in 2007. She is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidenced-based treatment for children who have experienced trauma and/or traumatic grief. She has completed training in Child & Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), an evidenced-based intervention used with children and adolescents immediately after a traumatic event to reduce traumatic stress symptoms and the risk of developing childhood PTSD. In addition, Erica has received training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), another evidence-based intervention for people who have experienced traumatic events.
Erica’s office, located in Loveland, Ohio, is a convenient location for people in and around Cincinnati, Ohio (Warren, Hamilton, Clermont, Clinton, and eastern Butler counties). The unique setting of her office — located on 9 wooded acres– promotes overall healing.
