Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and from Capella University in 2015 with a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling. Stephanie specializes in faith-based and couples counseling for adults.
She also has experience working with individuals, families, and groups of all ages who are struggling with psychosocial stressors and mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma and adjustment disorders, schizophrenia and related disorders, complicated bereavement, and substance dependence. Stephanie is fluent in Spanish and welcomes Spanish-speaking clients.
Stephanie got her start in 2013 as a Child Behavior Specialist Aide working with children 18mos-8yrs with severe behavioral disorders in a partial hospitalization setting. She then became a Housing Specialist and helped chronically homeless Cincinnatians struggling with substance abuse disorders to find stable housing and engage in mental health services. She then completed her counseling internship with Talbert House and was hired on as a Clinical Service Provider where she has been assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients using evidenced- based practices from a Cognitive Behavioral approach. She is excited to be a part of Symatree Counseling Network in order to continue to promote healing and overall wellness in the community.
