Teresa is an independently licensed counselor in the state of OH and KY. She is certified as a Play Therapist with Supervisor designation, as well as certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She has worked with children and their families since 2001. She has been the president of the Ohio Association for Play Therapy, as well as the Communications Director of the Ohio Association for Play Therapy. She is a graduate of the Play Therapy Association’s Leadership Academy. She is also a graduate of Xavier University’s Agency and Community Counseling program.
She has authored an article in the Play Therapy Magazine on directive vs. nondirective play therapy and often trains other therapists in play therapy as well as supervises Ohio therapists.
Teresa specializes in play therapy, working with children between 2 to 12 years, adolescents between 12 and 18 years, and all ages who have experienced trauma, attachment issues, and dissociation.
